BGRIMM (Beijing General Research Institute Of Mining& Metallurgy), founded in 1956. is one of the largest comprehensive research and design corporation engaged in mining, metallurgy and engineering technology in China. Since 1999, it has become a large state technology corporation directly under the Central Administrations of National Government. There are 16 function departments, 10 Sub-institutes, one Engineering Department, three nation grade Engineering Technology Research Centers and a State Quality Inspection Center for Heavy Nonferrous Metals Products in BGRIMM.

Sub-institute of Metal Materials (SIMM) is one of the main branches of BGRIMM, which is undertaking several National and Military key scientific research projects. The products of BGRIMM-SIMM is widely used in Aviation, Metallurgy, Petroleum, Machinery Manufacturing industries. At present we have more than 70 professionals, of which there are 10 Doctors, 40 masters. The area of our R&D center and workshop is 6700 square meters.
